Is Christianity a requirement for your care?
No. Genesis Center offers expert psychotherapy services, leaving the decision of if and how to include spirituality in the clinical process entirely up to the client.
Do you offer prayer or Scripture in treatment?
This occurs only if you specifically request faith integration and if it is medically sound. You are welcome to adjust these boundaries at any time.
Is my privacy protected?
Absolutely, sessions are strictly private, barring specific legal or safety exceptions detailed in your privacy and consent agreements.
Are virtual visits offered?
Yes. Genesis Center delivers care through a private, secure telehealth platform.
Can I be anywhere during a digital session?
You are required to be in a region where your provider holds a license. We will confirm your current physical location at the start of each virtual meeting for legal compliance.
Is in-office counseling an option?
Meetings at our physical site can be scheduled by request ahead of time.
Is health insurance taken?
Genesis Center functions as a private-pay facility at this moment as we work toward expanding our network with various insurance carriers.
May I file for insurance benefits on my own?
When possible, Genesis Center will issue a superbill for you to provide to your provider for potential out-of-network coverage. Approval of these claims is not assured.
What can I expect from the first visit?
This start is for evaluating your background, symptoms, and objectives. Your counselor will ensure our services match your specific requirements and level of care needed.
What is the visit length?
Standard one-on-one therapy lasts 50–60 minutes. Our specific 'Where Art Thou?' group sessions are designed to run for nearly 90 minutes deep.
What should I do in a mental health crisis?
